Kaoru Amano

In 2025, won the Third Prize in the Piano Division of the 9th Sendai International Music Competition.

Born in 2013 in Tokyo, Japan. Gave a debut recital in 2023 at the age of nine, and has since begun performing professionally.

Has received numerous awards at piano competitions, including the Bronze Prize in the Pre-Special Grade Division of the 48th PTNA Piano Competition and the Grand Prix at the 12th Europe International Piano Competition in Japan. Has appeared in international performances, including solo recitals in Switzerland and concerto performances in Italy. Has performed with the Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra, and is scheduled to appear with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, New Japan Philharmonic, and Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra in the 2026/2027 season. Studied under the late Akiko Sugitani and Chika Matsushima.
